EDUCATION

That is pretty much exactly how I felt about my secondary school education. The piece didn't overstate the case at all and I recently found out that practically everyone else at that school felt this way too - via an article in Sunday Telegraph mag, reading an old girl mag, and an apology by the current headmistress for the experiences that the girls suffered during the 70s and 80s.

The fact that a huge percentage of pupils had anorexia (often severe and latterly life-threatening), were into self-harming and/or looked extremely miserable, well it just didn't register on anyone's radar at the time.

Not easy to forgive.
